Mothers In Charge was founded by Dorothy Johnson Speight. This organization was started in the Philadelphia area.The Philadelphia Inquirer recently had the chance to catch up with the organization. Mothers In Charge is working with the Riverside Correctional Center in Northeast Philly to help woman who are incarcerated with their 12-week program, Heal A Woman, Heal A Nation.
I believe that their is no greater gift than to give back. Forget the fame and fortune if you are not helping others along the way. -mimihoney
