Greater Philadelphia Cares has joined with United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania to create the Community Action Center (CAC).
Neighbors in Action cleanup at Deni Playground (1400 Ruan St.), Saturday, 1/28
Join us this coming Saturday as a group of conscientious community members fight urban blight! UW CAC and Ray of Hope volunteers work alongside residents to beautify the neighborhood and do gardening projects across the city. This is a great opportunity to volunteer with others as well as a good chance to make new friends! Sign up for a project or get your neighborhood involved. (50 volunteers needed) Contact project leader Ray Gant, 215-744-1039, rohproject@comcast.net or Ian Charlton at 215-564-3411, icharlton@uwsepa.org.
