Ummmm I didn’t really like it, It wasn’t epic at all, it seemed that Nicki and M.I.A. were like sidekicks, wayyy on the side, because their parts were so short. The whole football and cheerleaders thing made it feel like I was watching a SuperBowl Ad. Madonna has been in the game for like 30 years. I just expected so much more.

Patti Labelle belted out her hits at this year’s Superbowl Village in Indianapolis singing her hits, Lady Marmalade, If You Asked Me To, and even did a tribute to Michael Jackson by singing the Earth Song. Many endured the frigid weather just to see Ms. Patti sing, and folks said it was well worth it.

Via TMZ: “Don Cornelius — who famously created “Soul Train” was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, CA home this morning … and law enforcement sources tell us it appears he committed suicide.
We’re told cops discovered the body at around 4 AM PT. Law enforcement sources tell us … Cornelius died from a gunshot wound to the head and officials believe the wound was self-inflicted.
We’re told Cornelius was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

I am so shocked and saddened that Don Cornelius passed away. Sadly it’s not uncommon for the elderly to committ suicide, if that was in fact the cause of death. Thank you Don Cornelius for being a pioneer in black television, and for giving us a venue to share our talent with the world.
